Carolina Hibner
Carolina is an Investor at Gamma Waves Partners, where she works across investment execution and portfolio support, helping to build and back high-potential companies. She is also pursuing her MBA at London Business School.
She was previously an Investment Associate at Valor Capital Group, a US-Brazil cross-border venture capital firm, where she sourced deals, evaluated investment opportunities, and supported portfolio companies across several sectors. Her experience spans early- to growth-stage investing.
Prior to Valor, Carolina began her career as an Investment Intern at Patria Investments on the Private Equity team, working on transactions and portfolio value creation initiatives in Latin America. She has also worked closely with climate-focused founders, including a pre-MBA role at Terradot, where she supported the company’s expansion and mission in Brazil after co-leading Valor’s investment in the business.
Carolina holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo and an M.Sc. in Management Engineering with a concentration in Finance from Politecnico di Milano, completed through a double degree program.
