Rasheed Behrooznia
Rasheed Behrooznia is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience leading and scaling software and technology-enabled businesses. Throughout his career, he has built high-performing teams, accelerated growth, strengthened customer relationships, and led organizations through periods of significant transformation.
Before joining Daxko, Rasheed served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Illumia, where he led the company’s Campus ID and Campus Commerce businesses. During his tenure, the business achieved significant revenue and EBITDA growth by translating a clear strategic vision into a deliberate and coordinated series of growth initiatives, spanning both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. This approach also drove substantial increases in software bookings while strengthening client satisfaction and retention. He also helped shape the organization’s long-term strategy, optimize its product portfolio, and deepen its commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
Rasheed’s career spans executive leadership roles across general management, product, engineering, and operations. He is known for combining strategic vision with disciplined execution and for creating customer-focused cultures in which talented teams can thrive. His leadership style is open and collaborative, grounded in transparent communication, mutual trust, accountability, and a shared commitment to achieving meaningful results.
Rasheed earned his engineering degree from the University of San Diego and his master’s degree from George Washington University. Rasheed lives in San Diego with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, boating, wakeboarding, playing soccer, and supporting his children in their athletic pursuits.
