Tom is a highly accomplished business owner and leader. He’s co-founder of ROR Partners and has over 25 years of experience in digital marketing, including being the CEO and founder of several digital media firms. Prior to ROR, Tom was the Chief Marketing Officer at 24 Hour Fitness, where he served on the executive leadership team overseeing the company’s marketing, media, advertising sales and digital initiatives. Prior to 24 Hour Fitness, Tom was the founder and CEO of ClubCom, the world’s largest operator of digital media and marketing networks in health clubs. In 2004, Tom sold ClubCom to Amer Sports Corporation, a public sporting goods conglomerate. At Amer, Tom continued as ClubCom’s CEO and oversaw Amer’s sale of ClubCom to Zoom Media in 2008. At Zoom, Tom continued as CEO of ClubCom and became President of Zoom’s local advertising sales division. In 2006 and 2009, Tom sold two additional advertising technology companies to Amer and Zoom respectively. Prior to ClubCom, Tom was the founder and CEO of Strive, a leading manufacturer of commercial fitness and physical rehabilitation equipment. Tom sold Strive in 1997. Tom was also a co-founder of Strive Fitness centers. Prior to Strive, Tom was a corporate and intellectual property litigation attorney at Reed Smith, an international law firm. Tom is the inventor of numerous United States & European Patents in the areas of digital marketing systems, personal media technologies and fitness equipment. He was a founding member of the Outdoor Video Advertising Bureau (now the DPAA) and has served on various media, marketing and advertising advisory boards. Tom has authored and been featured in numerous publications on place based digital media, mobile marketing and fitness technologies. Tom graduated summa cum laude from Washington & Jefferson College with dual degrees in Accounting and Economics. He was honored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as one of the top accounting scholars in the United States and was recognized as a Capital One Academic All-American. Tom was a two-time GTE All-American in wrestling. Tom earned his Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Tom and his wife Julie reside in the Pittsburgh, PA area. They have four adult children
