Chris Craytor
Chris Craytor is the CEO of ACAC Fitness and Wellness Centers and of Welld Health. Founded in 1984, ACAC is a chain of 15 first-class health and wellness facilities located in Virginia, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. Chris joined ACAC in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles prior to being named CEO in 2020, including most recently as President and COO. While CEO, he successfully rebuilt the company to pre-pandemic performance after a significant downturn in 2020 and 2021. Chris sets the strategic vision and direction for the organization and its almost 2,000 team members, with a particular focus on real estate, construction, finance, and sales. In his career with ACAC, he has developed or acquired more than $150 MM in health club assets. Chris founded Welld Health in 2018. A preventive health clearinghouse platform, Welld connects community health providers such as fitness centers, YMCAs, JCCs, pharmacies and more to the traditional health care system and its payors. Welld processes millions in health care transactions for its clients across the country and will serve more than 10,000 locations by the end of 2025. In addition to his roles with ACAC and Welld Health, Chris previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Health and Fitness Association (HFA, formerly IHRSA), the world's largest fitness industry trade association.
